I haven’t beaten Mass Effect 3. I know I should; I’m right near the end. I can initiate a mission that sets everything in motion. All I’d have to do is play a couple hours of multiplayer to get my war assets up. But I don’t want to. I really don’t want to. I am not, as the vast majority of angry consumers would lead you to believe, dissatisfied with the game. I happen to think that it’s inferior to Mass Effect 2, at least so far, but I can’t deny how much fun I’ve had up to this point. So why, you may ask, am I so compelled to become apathetic? It’s because I know how it ends.
