Stieg Larsson’s Millenium trilogy have recently become highly successful books; so much so, that they were signed on for both a Swedish and American adaptation (the American adaptation of which this review is on is directed by David Fincher of “The Social Network” fame). While I haven’t had any experience with either the book or Swedish film, I can safely say that this film is excellent on its own merits, and definitely warrants the attention of anyone who wants a well-designed suspense thriller.
